Highland VFW and Pleasant Valley American Legion Present Mobile Life with Flag

HIGHLAND, NY – Today, Sunday February 12, 2012 the Veterans of Foreign Wars of Highland and the American Legion of Pleasant Valley presented the American flag that flies over the Walkway Over the Hudson to Mobile Life Support Services.

American Legion presented the flag to Mobile Life Support Services for their outstanding care to the local communities.

The American flag will be retired for a short period of time while Mobile Life Support Services builds their new Poughkeepsie station.

Paramedic Supervisor Ted Marchionne said, “I hope that that we can honor the Veterans of Foreign Affairs and the American Legion by inviting them to have a flag raising ceremony at our new Poughkeepsie station once it’s completed.”
