This is a Pediatric Advanced Life Support Provider Refresher Course for current PALS cardholders.
The AHA’s PALS Course has been updated to reflect new science in the 2015 AHA Guidelines Update for CPR and ECC. This classroom, Instructor-led course uses a series of videos and simulated pediatric emergencies to reinforce the important concepts of a systematic approach to pediatric assessment, basic life support, PALS treatment algorithms, effective resuscitation, and team dynamics. The goal of the PALS Course is to improve the quality of care provided to seriously ill or injured children, resulting in improved outcomes.
- Includes the AHA’s systemic approach to assess and treat pediatric patient in emergency situations.
- Uses realistic, clinical scenarios that encourage active participation – delivered through actual patient videos and lifelike simulations.
- 2015 Guideline changes and algorithms are reinforced through engaging instructor lead discussion.
For non-Mobile Life employees, please submit your payment in the amount of $125.00. Textbooks are available for loan for MLSS employees and available for purchase for non-MLSS employees at an additional cost of $44.00.

After completing the HeartCode course, please call the Education Department at 845-562-4368 to set an appointment. Cost of skills verification is $75.00 and is by appointment only. Please do not register online for skills verification.
