It is our belief that every one of our staff members needs to receive a compensation package that rewards them and their families for the exceptional job they do in our name.
  • Every staff member receives the following compensation package:

    1. Competitive Wage Scale.

    Every new hire receives a competitive wage based upon their level of training and experience in the EMS field.

    2. Merit Based and Longevity Compensation.

    Staff receive yearly performance appraisals, which they themselves have been responsible for designing. It is our belief that staff whose performance demonstrates their motivation and commitment to excellence should be rewarded.

    3. Unit Hours Utilization Bonuses:

    No matter how sophisticated our efforts are to make sure that the workload is evenly distributed among all the on-duty crews, frequently a crew will have a very busy shift. We know that these crews are stepping up to handle more assignments so that the calls are covered in a timely manner. In order to reward such actions, we award daily bonuses to any crew who have had a high unit hour utilization shift.
